About HerdIQ
What is HerdIQ?
HerdIQ is a farm management platform built specifically for Zimbabwean farmers. It combines livestock batch tracking, financial management, AI-powered advice (ROZA), weather intelligence, and more — all in one app available on Android, iOS, and Windows Desktop.
What is ROZA?
ROZA is HerdIQ's built-in AI farm advisor. You can ask her anything in plain language — "Why is my FCR high this batch?", "What diseases should I watch for in July?" — and she reads your actual farm data to give you specific, useful answers. ROZA is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.
Which types of farming does HerdIQ support?
HerdIQ supports broiler chickens, layer chickens, road runners, beef cattle, dairy cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and mixed farms. Crop and field management modules are also available on the Pro plan for maize and other field crops.
Pilot Program
What is the Pilot Program?
The Pilot Program is our early access program for the first 50 farmers to join HerdIQ. Pilot members get 30 days of full Pro access completely free, dedicated WhatsApp onboarding, 50% off their first paid month, and early access to AI and IoT features before they're publicly released.
How do I join the Pilot?
Fill in the application form on our homepage. We review every application and contact you via WhatsApp within 24 hours. If accepted, we'll create your account with your chosen plan's features enabled from day one.
Is there a cost to join the Pilot?
No. The first 30 days are completely free with no credit card required. After the pilot period, pricing plans will be announced — pilot members will receive a 50% discount on their first paid month as a thank-you for joining early.
How many spots are available?
We are accepting exactly 50 farmers into the Pilot Program. Applications close 30 June 2026 or when all spots are filled, whichever comes first.
Plans & Features
What is the difference between Essential, Full Power, and Command?
Essential covers core operations — batch tracking, financials, inventory, procurement, and alerts. Full Power (Pro) adds ROZA AI advisor, 7-day hyperlocal weather, crop and field management, and advanced analytics. Command (Enterprise) adds multi-farm management, IoT sensors, admin user management, and broadcast messaging for large operations.
When will pricing be announced?
Pricing will be announced once the pilot program closes. We want to make sure pricing reflects real feedback from Zimbabwean farmers before we set final numbers.
Technical
What devices does HerdIQ work on?
HerdIQ is available on Android phones, iPhones (iOS), and Windows Desktop computers. All three are available to pilot members. The mobile app and desktop app are kept in sync in real time.
Does HerdIQ work offline?
Core data entry (batch logs, mortality records, feed tracking) works offline and syncs when you reconnect. AI features and real-time weather require an internet connection.
